Packed up at Wangardi where we spent 6 nights all together. Spoke to the Scout Group Leader last night and he's given the OK for us to park our caravan at the Scout Hall for the weekend. They have 28 hectares of land and great facilities there.
Off to have alook at the Pioneer Women's Museum which has been established in the old gaol. A good story regarding the preservation of the site - caused quite a stir in the Alice. Had a look at the old cells including a mural done by one of the prisoners.
Then had a look at the Pioneer Women's Museum - some great information about early life in the outback - quite impressive.
Grabbed some supplies in town then helped the Scout leaders to pack up their trailers and set off for their destination 25km out of town on Undoolya Station. Arrived there at 7pm and they proceeded to start putting up tents etc.
