Farewell to Uluru and the Olgas. Packed up our camp at Curtin Springs which has served us well for the last 3 days.
On the road to Kings Canyon. 280km down the road stopped at Kings Creek Station 40km short of Kings Canyon Resort thinking this is where we would base ourselves. However found it was no cheaper staying here so went on into Kings Canyon Resort and set up for the night including a spot for Andrew and Dirk to pitch their tent.
Then drove to Kings Canyon to have a look. Too late to do the big walk - thats for tomorrow - but went on the 0.5km creek walk. Lovely walk and a taste of this beautiful place.
Met a mother and daughter on holidays from Miami who kindly took some group photos for us.
