Off we go again - this time our intention to get to the rock.
150km up the road to the Lassiter Highway turnoff -getting close now.
Still 90km away and we see the rock! But wait a minute - thats Mt Conner. Luckily Sean's holding his end up. Stopped at the Mt Conner lookout and had some fun on the sand hill opposite.
This time its the real thing and we're still 50km away - wow! Then we get first glimpse of the Olgas.
Drove in and had a squiz at Ayers Rock Resort then decided to backtrack 80km to Curtin Springs where we could free camp and use as a base for the next couple of days.
