Day 105 - Resting in Kununurra

23/07/11

This morning Sean and I rose early and went fishing for a couple of hours. We tried several spots with no luck but had fun getting rid of some bait. I've now bought Sean his own rod and he seems to be enjoying the outings - even talking about wanting to go on a fishing charter.

After lunch Jude and I went for a drive to have another look around this town. The Diversion Dam is hard to avoid and it is spectacular. We're told that it will be like this for most of the year this year because of the bigger than normal wet season.

Just near the dam is another wonderful boab tree - then just down the road from here is one of massive proportions - could almost park the car in there!

Later in the afternoon we went to visit cousin Malcolm and Linda and see their bus setup - they have it all arranged for comfortable living and have a lovely view of the lake out their back door.

Then back to our Hidden Valley Caravan Park which has its own pleasant surroundings.
