Day 64 - Goodbye For Now

12/06/10

We were up this morning to go into Katherine to attend the Heritage Christian Church service.  This pentacostal church, though small was celebrating their move into a new building and a growing congregation - they also spoke of their involvement in local school progams.  It is wonderful to see people being motivated by the Holy Spirit to His works.  We were welcomed for a cuppa and a chat afterwards and did not get away until afternoon.

After we returend to the van, Jude and I went off the pictures to see the latest Pirates of the Carribean venture while Sean stayed in the van.  After the movie we returned to finish packing up and after a lovely break at John and Leanie's we left Katherine and headed north.

We got as far as Pine Creek and stayed in a caravan park there for the night.  The nearby pub was hosting a wedding reception and all the guests were in fancy dress with an  Alice in Wonderland theme.  Jude adn I went over to watch the fun for a while before retiring.
