Day 57 - Just One More Bush Camp

05/06/11

We enjoyed yesterday so much we've decided to stay another night here. This morning up to a sunrise with a wonderful cloud pattern in the east, then off to the Uniting Church in town. A traditional service with a small congregation of about 12 people however great to meet with other christians again. Had a cuppa and a yarn afterwards then back to camp.

Jude and I then went off to a nearby lookout which gives views of the surrounds and the town.

Then back to the Mining Centre and had a walk around the grounds where there is a great collection of old mining equipment as well as the Battery where they crush the rock into sand sized particles before extracting the gold.

Back to camp and time for doggie to have a haircut to remove some of the burrs she's picked up - she has had a great time running free around the camp. Even the horses don't mind her barking at them.
