Back on the road next morning and 250km down the road to Victoria River roadhouse for the night. On the way we stopped at the Gregory National Park and checked out Gregory's Tree. Yet another boab been used by the early explorers to document their passing. This one in 1854.
There's some very industrious spiders around here - this one covers the entire flower.
Just outside Victoria River is the old river crossing - picturesque and had a look at the crossing - decide not to have a go - found out later that it is washed out two thirds across so glad I didn't have a go.
Then back to set up at Victoria River - had a couple of beers with our neighbours Jezzy and Sheree - a lovely couple from Perth who we'll probably run into again.
