Today Sean and I left the van early – about 7am to go on one of the walks here. We ended up doing the Rawnsley Bluff walk which worked out to just over 14km round trip. Took us 4.5hrs and there was some steep climbing up the rocks but it was worth it for the view.
Some friends along for the walk.
You mean we have to go up there?
Sean didn't get tired at all during the climb.
Finally made it to the top and built a tower of rocks (or maybe they were already there) but what a view!
Glad it’s downhill on the way back.
The tree grabbed my hat as I walked under it - Sean thought it a great joke.
Leaving an environmentally friendly mark behind
Our first snake at least 3m long (or maybe 10cm)
Got back from the walk and dived into the pool at the park – wow it was cold then a shower and lunch.
In the afternoon we went for a drive around the station and visited several lookouts and some cool 4WD tracks.
