Slept in this morning and after a leisurely breakfast went into town to get some last minute groceries. While there had a look at these exhaust fans which stand about 6m high - these just one pair of some 40 around the town which keep the myriad of undergound tunnels ventilated.
Finally got away from the caravan park and on the road to Cloncurry. We ended up booking into a caravan park in town for a couple of nights.
Sean got to meet one of the locals "Lulu" - we were also visited by a large number of finches in the tree above us while we enjoyed yet another outback sunset.
